Vincent Gandino Founder, President
Vincent is an accomplished Web Site Developer and Project Manager with
an outstanding record of success in the Internet Technologies sector.
With an experienced background in client relations, sales, project
development and project management, Vincent is an entrepreneur who is
capable of discussing at length and in detail design strategy and
system functionality, molding user request to fit existing technical
architecture and implementing the design quickly.
Vincent graduated from Marist College in Poughkeepsie, NY, with a
degree in Communications/Multimedia. Vincent continued his studies at
Parsons School of Design in New York City while working full time
designing and constructing web sites. He worked closely with internal
and external executive management to conceptualize, design and launch
internet/intranet sites, furthering company goals.
Jon Lancellotti Operations
Jon is an experienced professional dedicated to achieving results. He has spent over 10 years planning, directing, and managing projects. Jon has accomplished bringing in projects on time and on or under budget. Jon has been placed in key leadership roles and specializes in developing relationships with clients. He is also experienced in delegating responsibilities and designing time schedules. Jon and his family have been involved in the boxing game for a number of years. He has assisted in finding and developing new talent.
Jon has always prided himself on being an athletic individual. He has trained in several styles of martial arts one being Shotokan karate where he earned the rank of black belt. He also played on multiple high school teams at St. Francis Prep but football was by far his favorite.
Dominick Tolipani Web Developer
Dominick is an eclectic web designer/developer who brings a high level
of artistic vision and enthusiasm to all the web sites he designs.
Dominick began his career in web design after attending Parsons School
of Design in New York City, where he earned a certificate in Graphic
Design. Prior to Parsons, Dominick completed his B.A. degree at SUNY
Albany in English Studies. He then worked as a project manager for a
contracting company.
An avid sports fan, Dominick coached CYO basketball and ran the NYC
marathon. Dominick has been actively working as a web
designer/developer for two years and lives in Queens, NY.
Socrates Manolopoulos Director of Technology St. Francis Prep, Web Site Developer and Project Manager,
Varsity Offensive Lineman Coach, Cisco Certified Programmer,
Socrates has an innate curiosity. In 1983, at the age of 8, he began
his programming experience in BASIC when his father brought home one
of the first PC's made by IBM. His interest in computers and
electronics has engaged him since then.
Socrates graduated from St. Francis Preparatory High School. He earned
a scholarship to Rensselaar Polytechnic Institute, graduating in 1997
with a B.S. degree in Science and a minor in Computer Science .
He returned to his Alma Mater as a science teacher and football coach.
He was appointed Chairperson of the Technology Committee at St.
Francis Preparatory High School in 2001. This position has enabled him
to integrate technology to provide efficiency for the school and the
curriculum. He is taking classes at Queens College to further his
education. Most recently, he earned a full scholarship toward the
completion of a Cisco Certification Program at Queens College.
Socrates has been involved in the development of a 12 home housing
community in Piles Grove, NJ. For the past five years, he has been
running a successful sole proprietorship called Deft Studios,
primarily a web development company which also offers other technology
services. He has a dream of creating a "big-time" web site, and adds
"if it helps kids, then that's even better".
Karen Gandino College Leadership and Student Development Officer
Karen Gandino is a high school and college guidance counselor. Karen
works with students in Brooklyn, NY, assisting them with college
counseling and emotional and behavioral counseling. She is also the
Program Coordinator and Adjunct Professor for CUNY's College Now
Program, which enables high school students an introduction to the
college experience and to gain college credit while still in high
school. Karen teaches a Student Development course designed to assist
students with adjustment to college, including learning styles,
leadership skills, career planning, diversity and study skills. Karen
has worked with both high school and college students promoting higher
education since 1996.
Before joining the Department of Education as a guidance counselor,
Karen worked with college students as a Residence Director at
Marymount Manhatten College, NYC. She was responsible for the
management and supervision of a traditional and an apartment-style
residence hall with 7 Resident Assistants and 300 students. This
position also required that she assist students with their
developmental needs through counseling, crisis management and conflict
resolution.
Also at Marymount Manhatten College, Karen was Director of Leadership
and Student Development within the Office of Student Affairs. She
created an environment that complemented the formal academic
environment by providing special emphasis on students growth through
leadership development and co-curricular programming.
As a student athlete, playing high school soccer and lacrosse and
college lacrosse, Karen is a strong believer in the power of athletics
as a tool to both promote growth and attain goals.
Karen has a Master's Degree in Education & Counseling from Hunter
College, NYC, and a B.A. degree in English Literature from Marist
College, Poughkeepsie, NY.
Christopher Hunt-Walker Development Director
As development director, Christopher Hunt-Walker brings eight years of
professional experience in the field of new media production. With a
multi-disciplinary background in new media and computer science, Mr.
Hunt-Walker is knowledgable in production techniques for print,
application development and digital content creation. Notable client
work includes American Cancer Society's Relay for Life campaign
online (ACSLightl-lope.org) , The Orchard.com and Queensborough
Community College's (CUNY) online portal.
In addition to new media production, Christopher has held instructor
positions at the Jamaica Center for Arts and Learning (Queens,NY),
CUNY Queensborough Community College (Queens,NY) and Polytechnic
University (Brooklyn,NY) where he teaches interactive production for
the web. Christopher holds a Bachelor's Degree from CUNY Queens
College in the field of Media Studies.
Sheldon Smith Creaive Director
As creative director, Sheldon Smith brings eight years of graphics
production experience to DesignAttic Multimedia. His persistence to
excel directly translates to his success delivering quality artistic
direction to every project. Sheldon's experience in the digital media
realm allows him to create graphics for any media environment
including print, web and broadcast.
Notable client work includes art direction and graphics for Azzure
Denim print campaigns. logo idents for Take-Two/Rockstar Games and web
creative for Luster's Beauty Products. Additionally, Sheldon has
directed production and post-production for several video and photo
projects for web and broadcast.
Sheldon holds a Bachelor's Degree from CUNY Queens College in the
fields of Media Studies and Film.
