Glendale, NY- September 30,2009 - John Tucker, one of the most respected names in the lacrosse world, joins Web Based Sports Solutions Inc. (WBSS) and its’ sports recruiting platforms CheckMySkills.com and MyRecruitingOffice.com.
Tucker will join WBSS as Director of Sales, where he will be responsible for the college lacrosse segment of MyRecruitingOffice.com nationwide. Tucker will also be the liaison for CheckMySkills.com in the state of Maryland.

A resident of Towson, Maryland, Tucker brings with him a highly decorated playing career. Collegiately, he played midfield on the 1984 undefeated Johns Hopkins squad and led the Blue Jays to the NCAA Division I title. Tucker was a member of Team USA in the World Lacrosse Championships in 1986, 1990, and 1994 and he captained the 1990 and 1994 teams. Tucker also earned two National Lacrosse League (NLL) titles in the Professional Indoor League with the Philadelphia Wings.
Professionally, Tucker has won four Maryland Interscholastic Athletic Association (MIAA) championships – three at Gilman School and one at Loyola Blakefield, both in Baltimore. He began his professional coaching career in Los Angeles with the Riptide in 2006 where he gained MLL Brine Coach of the Year honors. In 2007 the Riptide advanced to the MLL Championship game and won the Western Division in only their second year of existence.
Tucker is currently head coach of the Baltimore Bayhawks of Major Lacrosse League (MLL) and the Director of Admissions of Archbishop Curley High School in Baltimore Maryland.
